Grades We Manufacture :
• Dipotassium Phosphate Anhydrous Industrial grade
• Dipotassium Phosphate Anhydrous Pure Grade
Di-Potassium phosphate is formed when two equivalents of potassium react with phosphoric acid until the desired PH is obtained. Solution is then further dried to get fine quality white powder.Di-Potassium phosphate also known as potassium hydrogen orthophosphate and potassium phosphate dibasic, is a highly water-soluble salt which is often used as a fertilizer, food additive and buffering agent. It is a common source of phosphorus and potassium.
Applications:
- Di-potassium phosphate is used as a buffering agent in antifreeze solution.
- Di-potassium phosphate forms a key ingredient for instant fertilizers.
- DPP is efficient source of nutrition in culturing of antibiotics.
- DPP is also used as sequestrant in the preparation of non-dairy powdered coffee creams.
- DPP is also used in production of trypticase soy agar which is then further processed to agar plates for culturing bacteria.
